Did Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI Contradict Every Major Movement & Teaching of Francis?

3 min read

Very few have caught everything that Benedict said in two major letters he released in the past couple of years. It takes a fine eye to see all the errors he addressed in these two letters. Obvious to me, maybe not too many. I can remain silent no longer.

I will not cover everything, just the majors. Pope Benedict still remains a successor of the Apostles, in that he does still retain authority, infallible when reinforcing previous dogma, although some say it is contradictory that a successor of the Apostles has far more authority.

Benedict’s Sex Abuse Scandal Letter

Pope Benedict blames the Sexual Revolution for the abuse crisis:

“Among the freedoms that the Revolution of 1968 sought to fight for was this all-out sexual freedom.”

Amoris Laetitia, by Francis, excuses people of the Sexual Revolution. Amoris Laetitia gives couples living in Adultery the permission to receive Communion even though they are still in the objective state of sin. something Canon Law forbids (.

Pope Benedict blames homosexuality for the problem.

“In various seminaries homosexual cliques were established.”

Francis has blamed the Sexual Abuse crisis on clericalism (abuse of clerical power). Clericalism is an aggravating factor, it is not the cause. The cause is a sexually disordered life.

“[H]omosexual acts are¬†intrinsically disordered.”

With disordered morality, comes disordered affectations which are a Psychological Cause of sexual abuse. In Rational-Emotive Theory, Thoughts proceed feelings. Feelings cause behavior.

In the Catholic paradigm beliefs cause thoughts.

Beliefs -> Thoughts -> Feelings -> Behavior

Given that Catholics who attend Mass twice a week have zero suicides (see Harvard, 2016), Catholic belief and assumption should have priority over any other predispositions (beliefs). No other group has zero suicides with Church attendance in this study.

Traditional Apostolic Teaching the Cure

For Francis, rigidity (tradition), is the cause of evil. For Benedict, Traditional Faith is the cure.

According to the study of zero suicides, Tradition is indeed the cure and saves lives. Francis, a novice Psychologist, is wrong. Popes only have authority in a field in which they have competence. Francis has no doctorate in Psychology.

Tradition is again the cure in a study of suicides amongst women. Catholic women have under 1/5th the suicide rate of the general population. Protestant women have a higher suicide rate than the general population according to this study.

Key in this study, is that reinforcement of Catholic Teachings about suicide being a grave sin, is a cause of Catholic Woman’s low suicide rate.

Tradition beats Liberalism in the most important and extreme mental illness, suicide. Dead and live bodies settle the case. Benedict is right.

Summary

Benedict beats Francis in both Practical Theology and Applied Psychology. Francis, who taught Psychology to Seminarians seems totally obtuse to Applied Psychology and the findings it has to reinforce Traditional Catholic Teaching.

There is much more in this letter that refutes Francis’s pet theories and Ordinary Magisterium. I cannot cover everything. A small booklet might be the best to address these issues more properly.

Prophetic Eye

“Absolutely certain and infallible special revelations” (Council of Trent, Session 6, Canon 16) are all I receive. How do I know that? An absolutely certain and infallible special revelation.

According to such a revelation to me, Francis secretly resigned to three cardinals: Marx, Kasper and Burke. Burke knowing he would not be backed up by the other three has said nothing so far. However, he has spoken of Apostasy consistently.

Within several days, it will be revealed. Why? I miracled it.

Invocation

Sweet Heart of Jesus, be our Salvation. Amen.

Immaculate Heart of Mary, pray for us now and at the hour of our passing. Amen.
