Good Bishops of the United States

2 min read

Very much hay is made pointing at bad bishops: pointing out their evil, naming names and showing their evil inactions. Little is said about good bishops trying to shepherd souls.

Recently, Massimo Faggioli, a papal advisor, attacked some of these bishops. So I will address these three for now.

Here are some bishops with the right focus.

Bishop Strickland

The only bishop to be clean on the Pennsylvania Grand Jury Report. Bishop Strickland recently defended the Magisterium, the Eternal Truth of the Gospels, reinforced Mass attendance, called for Rosary prayers and called bad shepherds wolves.

He consecrated his diocese to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. These are a few of the good things he has done.

Archbishop Chaput

Know for his orthodoxy, Archbishop Chaput was denied a red hat by Francis. Although, some think this is due to the declining importance of Philadelphia.

He has defended Faith, Virtue, and the Holiness of the Saints. He has also supported holiness, clarity and obedience.

Archbishop Cordileone

Cordileone of San Francisco was early in revealing sex abuse cases against priests in the United States, although among the last in his State (California). He has been a frequent devotee of the Rosary. With California’s constant attacks on the Catholic Church, I can hardly blame him.

Like Bishop Strickland, he consecrated his diocese to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. These are a few of the good things he has done.

Full Disclosure

I have debated, corrected, castigated and rosary cursed Massimo several times on Twitter. If you don’t think my rosary curses work, try again and again and again and again and again and so on (documented). In that respect, I am in the spirit of Saint Athanasius who faced the heretics of his time. In this case, they are Apostates.

How do I know to do this? “An absolutely certain and infallible special revelation” (Trent, Session 6, Canon 16), in everything, forever.

  1. David, it’s just me, a nobody. I’m so excited. I just got a new phone! My old one was broken, as it was very limited in its functions.
I can now connect with links and watch videos. Your site is the first one I went to. I’m looking forward to reading your writings.
I may have many questions. I’m not an intellect. God bless you, dear brother in Christ
