The Battle of Lepanto is a frequent feast in the Roman Calendar. In 1571, it was discovered a massive Mohemmadan invasion fleet was headed towards Rome.
Pope St. Pius V, called for fasting, the Sacrament of Reconciliation (for those who needed it), Mass and praying the Rosary for divine intercession. On October 7, 1571, the Holy League fleet met the Jihadist invaders and fought.
Halfway during the Battle, the wind which had been against the outnumbered Catholic forces shifted. The miraculous winds went against the jihadist fleet putting them in disarray, and the invasion fleet was defeated by the Catholic forces.
October 7, 1571 is now the Feast of Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary as well. So we pray the Rosary on this day, fast, attend the Sacrament of Reconciliation if needed, to ask for deliverance every year. The Rosary Coast to Coast prays once a year for Our Country.
Hurricane Dorian & Our Lady of Lepanto
Recently Our Lady appeared to me to encourage a Devotion (thread) to her under the title of Our Lady of Lepanto (Victories). I have used this devotion, specifically, several times. Several victories have been gained through the addition of mental prayer, candle devotion and adding a Rosary intention. This devotion has also prevailed immediately alone (read the thread).
The Miraculous Wind is a power specific to the victory of the Battle of Lepanto. It is also key to the miracles of Hurricanes Irma, Maria, Florence, Dorian, and recent hurricane trends to be revealed at the end of this Hurricane Season (November 30th).
The Titular Basilica of Our Lady of Lepanto, is Saint Mary Major in Rome, Italy. It is one of the Major Basilicas in the Catholic Church and one of the four Catholic Patriarchal Basilicas.
“For with God nothing will be impossible” (Luke 1:37).
“[W]hat is impossible, prayer makes possible, what is difficult, easy” (Catechism of the Catholic Church, paragraph 2744).
I specifically used this devotion many times. Since it promises to grant all prayer intentions with one practice of this devotion, it “never ceases” it is “new every morning” (Lamentations 3:22).
The granting of these petitions will accelerate and magnify beyond comprehension. Along with other divine-promised devotions such as the Eucharist, Rosary and Green Scapular, they change the world physically. We will live in a new, holier world, filled with abundance and miracles with every breath as proceeded with Adam before his Fall (Genesis 2:19).
Heart of Jesus, be our refuge and security. Amen.
Heart of Mary, be our hope and Salvation. Amen.
All you saints and angels, pray for us. Amen.
